The Department of Drama condemns the senseless deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and so many others. We stand in solidarity with protests against police brutality, systemic racism, and white supremacy. We pledge to listen and learn; to examine our curricula and departmental culture for ways to improve equity and inclusion; and to support students, staff, and faculty of color. We commit to promoting antiracism in our community and in the fields of theatre and dance. Black Lives Matter.
