Biography

Clare is originally from Mississippi, right outside of Memphis, TN. She began studying scenic and prop work while she was pursuing her BA in Vocal Performance and Theatre Performance. Since 2019, she has performed in roles including Assistant Stage Manager, Prop Master, Scenic Designer,  and has led scenic painting projects across the city of Memphis, primarily at Opera Memphis and The University of Memphis Department of Theatre and Dance. Previous places of work include Tennessee Shakespeare Company, Charlottesville Opera, and several seasons at Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre. Clare received her MFA in Scenic Design And Technology from the University of Memphis.
