Biography
Caitlin McLeod serves as Associate Professor of the Practice for the Department of Drama, a University appointment reserved for distinguished professionals who have been recognized for contributions to their field. Over a 30-year career, she has produced theater, arts, and events in Charlottesville, New Orleans, and New York. Caitlin is currently Producer for DALA CompaNY, a Martinique-based theater collective focused on building artistic interchanges between the U.S. and Franco-Caribbean communities. At UVA, she teaches courses in producing theater and trains students in professional stage and production management practices. She holds an M.F.A. in Stage Management from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.
